Types of Valves and their Functions

Butterfly valves are widely used in industrial applications for the same reasons as that of the much popular ball valves. They offer an incredible evaluation of handling and precisely because of this reason they are widely used on bigger lines like that of fire fighting equipments, tank to pump lines and those in front and rear side suction power slots. Lug type butterfly valves are characterized by reduced pressure ranking. C22 lug butterfly valve uses threaded places at both ends of the device body.  A pair of flanges is used to set them up and as a result single part of the activity program, if desired, can be turned off without distressing the other part.

Ball valve, true to its name, is nothing but a ball placed along the way through which the liquid moves. The locking and unlocking of the ball valve is achieved via the hole that is present in the ball. In the unlock position of the valve the gap on the ball aligns with the passage way of the liquid and in such condition the liquid passes by the gap. Valve lock position is just the reverse. If the ball is segmented in different degrees of V angles to achieve limitless range of controls, they are called segment ball valve.
Water Gate Knife Valve is one which is designed with a metallic cast body. It literally functions as nothing but a stainless steel blade. There are detachable seats on either side of the gate. This offers a bi-directional closure choice that is percolate limited. In such situations no metal areas come in contact with the slurry. With pressure ranking up to a maximum of 10bars, LKW is available.

Jacketed plug valve is a sleeve controlling valve with sleeve information. It has long working life.
Heating double jacket plug valve gets its name from the fact that it comes covered with a heating jacket.
UB6 plug valve is highly popular for its high performance standards.
